Ok you're not saying how much you can buy it for, but if 1k in more repairs gets you another bike, why take on this project, the engine will be fine with cylinders being nikasil

1100 has the advantage of
Fuel gauge that works
Wet clutch that is far more dependable
More torque
07 had Marzzochi forks that gave a nice ride
All worth considering |

Bike 2. Dosn't look like it's been cared for. Eg tuning neglected, tyres
Neglected, dirty, usual tell tale of owners mindset. Low ball bike 1 and
Fix fork seal as long as chrome tube is not chipped. |

Hi all,
I'm looking at buying a 2007 1100s with approx 10,500 miles. From speaking to the service department the bike should go in every 7500 miles for an $1100 service. This seems awfully high, ... |

Buy the '04. Ride the dog snot out of it. That's a great deal. You may need a tank. You may need valve guides. You WILL have a great time riding it.
