I am looking at a 2012 Multi S model with ~6300 miles on it. Anything I should look out for with this model & year of Multi?

Asking price is $15k, compared to getting a 2014 for $19.2k. Would I be better off with a 2014 model?

For me, new. But there are a number of older models that have been traded this year for the current upgrades and that seems to be the going asking price.

Nothing specific to watch out for with the '12 models. Seems that all the glitches from earlier MY bikes had been worked out by then. I traded my '10 in on a '12, and the new bike has been flawless over the last 10k miles.

If the bike you are looking at doesn't have one, get the Ohlins upgrade suspension ECU for the bike. Very good upgrade for ~ $350 or so.

12s have pretty much everything sorted except for the rear brake. but why would you ever need one of those!

You can almost get a pp for that price. Don't buy now. Prices will fall as winter approaches. Best buys are comming.

Pulled the trigger on the new one. Got them down to $17.2k plus they included the top bag. Picked her up on Friday, but unfortunately was racing all weekend so I haven't had a chance to put many miles on her.

The wife and I are very excited for our first road trip!!! Smile
