being a Tiger owner with 20,000 miles this year I have come to the realization that the stock supension is a pile of crap
the dealer also has the MTS 1100s (the ugly duc) and low and behold Ohlin suspension
being extremely lazy the thought has entered my mind to trade for the more nimble MTS
I think if I could get a good price (disontinued?) and some freebies like a centerstand and hard bags I would do it
the Tiger is probably worth the upgrade cost though, a very comfy tourer with plenty of power, just a bit skittish on the curves
anyways cheers |

Jbay,
the other option would be to spend some small change on re-valving the Trumpy suspension and go that way.
The other thing is take the MTS for a test ride (if you're permitted) and evaluate the differences. I found somewhere on the web a maxi enduro test between the Triumph, MTS, V-Strom and something else. The Trumpy got top marks cause it is newer than the unchanged Multi.
Another OR, wait for the NEW Multi to be released to the public from Milano expo in November.
Cheers,
Steve |
