Thanks for the input. I'm don't fear Duc reliability; I had a Monster for three years and although there were many "issues" they were almost never the bike's fault. I'm hoping to start over again

Would anyone strongly recommend holding out for an '05 or later MS? The '03s and '04s are generally much less expensive. From what I can see in the forum, the earlier mirrors suck and are difficult to mod due to integral turn signals; the seat is a rock; and there may be an issue with valve guides ...

Yeah, I'm 6'2" also, and the Monster is just this side of too small, especially since I put on the clip-ons. All the Ducatis seem to be on the small side except for the Strada.
