Congratulations! For sure it would cost Ducati more than $6,500 to build that bike today, so you got a great deal. Be sure and report back on your buying experience; I will be interested to hear about the actual condition of the bike.

The multi has great leg room; I have a 34in inseam and ride all day with no problem. Expect 45-55 mpg. Everyone loves the MTS 620 and it has a great motor (especially at $6,500)! I don't ride on the dirt or play with BMW's, so I can't help there.

I use my multistrada for sport touring, and it has more cornering clearance than I can use on public roads (no centerstand installed).

The dark has a single disc up front while the non-dark has dual disc brakes on the front. This would be worth the extra money for me.

I have not met anyone who didn't like this bike, just search the web for reviews by the magazines. With the tendancy towards bigger engines, the 620 could potentially be a future cult bike. I get ~55+ mpg at 75 mph with Ducati performance, whats not to like?
