Tough call but I was say pass. There are too many '07 & '08 in the 10s. They would have to really drop the price to earn my business on that bike. 10ish will buy you a new 07 S model. Just my .02 cents.

Take a look at the Multistrada 620. There are plenty around used with low miles on them and if you look hard enough there's even a few new bikes that are left over.

This is more then enough bike for your level of riding with out spending 10 to 14k on a bike. Probably less then half that ...

6'4" & 220 lbs. This bike will fit you like a glove. It has a very tall stance and you will have the benifit of flat footing it while at a stop. The wind catches me kind of mid chest level with the stock windscreen. I really don't have that much weather protection but I don't have any head buffeting ...

I would shop that a bit. For 11.500 you can buy a new '07 leftover. If you gotta have that one, then put you "big boy" pants on & start haggl'n! I would start by knocking 3k off that price. Just my opinion though. Good luck & welcome!

How do you like the RT?
The RT is a wonderful bike if you need to travel 2 up with baggage yet still retain some sporting manners. Certainly not a MTS but handles well. I would highly recommend taking a ride on one. It's a very balanced FWIW.
