Re: need help deciding between 2 MTS100DS

Hum... I'd go with bike #1. Sort of like buying a new bike and you can make it your own. Kind of fun buying the bits you like - many will show up in the marketplace on this site. I would always go for lower miles...

Re: Staintune Exhaust

+1 Yep, what they said. One of the best improvements I have made. I easily gained 1K of useful RPM on the low side. I had mine installed at my 6K service, so they dialed in the fuel mix, etc. If you're near one of your service intervals, that's the time to do it. Enjoy! :D

Re: could the mts be "the one"?

Ok nostatic - this is my 2 cents. It sounds like you are a mature and sensible rider. For me, I had never owned a true muscle machine until I bought the Multistrada. :D True, I’ve had the Triumphs, etc. that mysteriously crashed at 100 MPH+ (ouch! ). But those are days gone by. Now I know how ...

Re: Very close to buying one!!

Hi again Wade and James,
Thanks a bunch for your feedback. :) I had the feeling that Section 8 might be a little more expensive. But that’s okay as long as their prices are fair. I would much rather do business with a dealer who is passionate about Ducati, and the MTS. :)
BTW do you know anything ...

Re: Very close to buying one!!

Hi Wade and James,
I’m in Toledo and just bought a new MTS in November. :) 8) I bought it from Rizzon in New Jersey (really nice folks :D – you guys out east are sure lucky). Now I have to find someone to service my bike, as there are no Ducati dealers in Toledo. Detroit is closest. I talked to Bill ...

Re: Advice please for a U.S. want-to-be

Happy! Happy! Happy! I haven’t felt like this since my 9th birthday when my parent rolled out a new English racer. Mom’s first words – Nicky be careful. Actually I’ve heard that a lot from girl friends and now constantly my wife. Did I mention happy – I just got a shiny black 04 Multistrada with 0 ...

Advice please for a U.S. want-to-be

I've had my sights on a Multistrada for some time. Since it would basically be a toy for me, I really wanted to buy a used one (I need some plausible explaination for my wife - it was a good deal  ) I found this one on ebay: http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&rd=1&item ...
