Thanks for all the replies, it's pretty much how I feel. Right now my main ride is a BMW LT and it suits me just fine. I've been looking for something to replace my 08 V Strom which I sold a few weeks ago ( didn't expect to sell it so fast). I really don't need another bike until I hit the road ...

I ran across a dealer a few weeks ago who has a new 05 1000. No luggage or any other extras that I can tell. The price was in the mid 10's, I just said no thank you. Call's me up a few days latter and said they would make me an offer if I was still interested. I'm not feeling all that comfortable ...
