I definitely agree with this :D

How much engine/radiator heat comes up to the rider? My ST4s blasts me with hot air unless I'm going 45-50mph+.
None. It's not hot at all

Quiting time can't get here quick enough today

I haven't been this excited about picking up a new bike in a long time.

Re: 1200 S Touring Vs. Concours 14

CADRE (Cincinnati Area Ducati Riders) rides those roads every Saturday morning starting in May, meeting at the AA Highway Shell (or you could meet us in Falmouth, we stop there for lunch). Trust me, that 90 minutes will flow by, especially if you can find a 2-lane route

I may hook up ...

Re: 1200 S Touring Vs. Concours 14

Congrats and good call on the titanium, I really like that color. It looked like you've owned a succession of 4 cylinder bikes, did the Duc twin appeal to you right off the bat? I've got a buddy with a similar background of bikes to you and he just can't ride twins after all his fours.

I had a ...

Thanks for the welcome!

Well I won't have to wait that long! It came in today, they may have it prepped before I leave work but it might be tomorrow. We shall see in an hour.

I got the Titanium color BTW.

Re: 1200 S Touring Vs. Concours 14

Just got back from the test ride.

It's perfect. It is everything you guys said it would be. Light, nimble, quick, comfortable, fun, just a joy to ride. Very nice motorcycle. For the first time in a long time, I even enjoyed riding behind traffic (usually on the sport bike I was in pain and dying to ...

Re: 1200 S Touring Vs. Concours 14

Man you guys are great. Excellent feedback. I wasn't too worried about the top case either, but my only experience with cases was some Jesse luggage on my vstrom 650, and that bike sucked.

Checked out the c14. Of course no test ride. It's a nice bike, but it's not speaking to me like the mts. It ...

Re: 1200 S Touring Vs. Concours 14

Just went to the local Ducati dealer at lunch. We do have a good dealership here, they have a very good reputation for making fair deals and offering great service.

I sat on the bike, checked it out thoroughly and talked to the owner for an hour. It's a very nice bike and the ergo's are great. I ...

Re: 1200 S Touring Vs. Concours 14

Those were the last two bikes on my list. I test rode the Multistrada and fell in love. I looked at the Connie and looked at it and tried my best to convince myself that it was a better fit. I rode it and it is a good bike. Being a small guy, I definitely noticed the weight of the Connie. In the ...

Re: 1200 S Touring Vs. Concours 14

I own a 2010 Muti 1200 S Touring so I lean toward the Ducati a bit. I will say that I got to ride a fiends C1400 and felt comfortable riding it a fairly quick pace right away. Usually it takes time for me to feel a bike out enought to get comfy enought to wick it up, but the Connie felt good right ...

Nice review on youtube, you may have already seen it

Putting the Duc 1200 in with those bikes for a comparison is like putting a silk hat on a pig. I have rode all of those machines except the Triumph GT. but I owned a 08' ST. I looked at the Connie ...

No, nothing like that here in KY. The dealer will let you demo most things I hear, he may not have one though.
