How can you beat meeting the mechanic, the miles aren't a big issue if the bike was well maintained, in my opinion. Which color you like best is alway a factor as well, a lot of owners will tell you that black is faster, I agree with that opinion.

I recommend a bag that has a mounting ring, I have a Givi but I am sure there are other brands. the bag don't touch the tank and placement and removal is very quick and easy.

I am looking at a 2010S with around 20,000 miles on it. It has been well maintained and in excellent condition. Can I expect this to be reliable, I am planning on long trips with this.
