Well, I'm now the owner of a '07 1100 S with 9600 miles and some busted plastic. Ended up giving $2250 for the bike. Will pick it up this evening. Either the best or worse purchase I've ever made . Time and $$ to get right will tell.

Ok you're not saying how much you can buy it for, but if 1k in more repairs gets you another bike, why take on this project, the engine will be fine with cylinders being nikasil
And a fresh set of belts, oil, filter, drain fuel, refill with non ethanol, check to see if rear panels have gull winged ...
