Have a safe ride. If the dealer is MotoCorsa in Portlad, they are a solid dealer with fine wrenches.

Re: Tires... anything else? 2015 1200S T
I'd definitely go with new tires, the metzler sportec m7rr mentioned on here today sound great and the 600-700 miles from Portland to Mountain View will be much more stress free with fresh rubber between you and the variable conditions of Oregon and NorCal. The '15 1200S Multi should be a blast for ...

Re: Thinking of buying...
Sounds like a great runner. Get the belts, oil, fluids for brakes and clutch, check the chain and maybe tires attended to and ride it like you stole it ('cuz U did!) for the rest of the season. Make sure the forks aren't leaking.

Re: Looking to buy 04 Multistrada.....
Depending on your ca$h situation and the service records of the bikes, the '04 might be a good deal but the 1100S will likely be less of a gamble and deliver more value in the long run. There are many on this forum with outstanding stories about their 1000DS Multis from 2003 - 2006.

Re: thinking about buying an 05 Multistrada DS
As Lotus54 said, you can have your ECU flashed to DP specs and disable the immobilizer as well. Several vendors can perform this service in USA for ~$500. (if memory serves)

Re: thinking about buying an 05 Multistrada DS
Aksinah88,
The yellow Multi is a 620cc model with the double sided swing arm instead of the 1000DS' single sided swing arm. The 2 bikes are different in power and weight, but both great rides. If your weight is over 190 LB and height over 5'10", the 620 may not be right for you. Ducati only made ...

Re: Potential Multi owner
I think you will be hard pressed to beat that price on an 1100S. That being said, why is it's price so low? You might ask to see the service history and list of add-ons.

Re: Oil temperature sender
Isn't the oil temp senser / sender screwed into the base of the oil cooler? The oil pressure sender may be what you are referring to as it would be installed in the engine block.

Re: 2012 Multistrada "Touring" No Panniers !!!!!!!
Have you seen your new Multistrada yet? If it has a Carbon Fiber "Beak" and cam belt covers but has no center stand then it is an "S" Sport and not a "T" Touring model.
Maybe the dealer got the order mixed up or something like that and they are just trying to paint a pretty face on it.

Re: 2009 Multi 1100S Gas Tank swelling issues????
'fraid so. Same tank design and mfgr for 2003 - 2009. The material may be different depending on what market, but USA market Multistrada "Classics" are all potential victims of the E10 / H20 infection.

Re: Advice
If you consciously avoid Ethanol "Enriched" fuel you should be just fine, like the rest of the world except USA and some of Canada where its use has been mandated. That said, even here in the "Protection Paradise" (aka USA) you can now find rogue service stations offering 91 octane "ethanol-free ...

Re: Looking for pre-purchase opinions/advice
The preload adjuster will give you a simple tell if the ride height is the problem. If your weight is 200# or more you could consider a stiffer spring, I installed a stiffer spring and it made a huge difference as I weigh 215# @ 6'3". I can adjust for a pillion very easily with just adjusting the ...

Refering to your screen, your rear ride height may be too low.Try turning in several turnes on the preload.
