Against the possibility of dropping the 620 I'm about the right a check for, is it possible to install those slider things to protect the body work in the event of the 0 mph 'I can't believe I just dropped the darn thing' life encounter?
what gets damaged on a 620 on a simple drop? How to protect it?
TIA

My single drop brought tiny dig marks to my handguards, and the sliders themselves.
Without them, it probably would have dinged the panel, and perhaps tweaked or broken the rear brake pedal/peg.

yup, I've got front axel and frame sliders. My bike was knocked over and, fortunately, I also had my hepco becker rear top case on. My bike suffered pretty much zero damage. The case, the frame slider, and my right handle bar end hit. I dug a little asphalt out of the nut on the hand guard/bar and that was it. Unbelievable.
