I am looking at an 07 MTS 1100S model red. It is completely stock, just had its 7500 mile service and it has new tires front and rear. There is a small scuff on the left rear body work where it fell against a cement pillar but I understand that there isn't any damage to the bike or the bodywork other than cosmetic. Price $8,000. Sounds pretty good to me as I am looking for a long distance bike since I seem to enjoy that more than canyon blasting on my S2r 1000 monster. Thoughts? Opinions?

That sounds almost too good. Double check its history. If everything checks out, snag it. At that price, you can afford to make it faster by painting it black!

If it looks in as good a shape as you describe, I'd buy it no question.
