Anyone know anything about this one in Winchester VA? I know the dealer no longer sells Ducati and the fact that the cycle only has 500 or so miles seems odd.

500 miles isn't so odd, really - may well have been some novice rider's short-lived fancy. The top box is a nice extra.eno1212 wrote:Anyone know anything about this one in Winchester VA? I know the dealer no longer sells Ducati and the fact that the cycle only has 500 or so miles seems odd.

But I really hate seeing the prices bikes go for these days. Forcing myself to think about sacrificies I might have to make if worst comes to worse, I realize not only would I lose a treasure if I had to unload Crazy Cat, but with its 17k miles and history of horizontality, I'd be lucky to get much more than a quarter of what I put into it if I did manage to sell it.

I thought I posted this... hmmm, maybe I PM'ed you?
My MTS 620 trade-in is available. It's in Connecticut.

Super-clean, 3,400 miles, coddled but not babied, never down, hot grips, 14t front sprocket, fully serviced (had the timing belts changed last fall per Ducati specs), brand new gas tank (replaced under warranty) not sure what other extras they're selling it with.
I have NO affiliation or anything to gain from posting, but I'd prefer that my little buddy was being ridden, rather than sitting on the showroom floor! Call Cliff's and ask for Chris Kirkness.

Thanks. I was looking for something a bit closer to DC.[My MTS 620 trade-in is available. It's in Connecticut. ]
I tell you what has been really eye opening is the price range for used 06MTS 620's. Everywhere from $4,500 to $7,000. The impact of the economy on motorcycle sales is significant.[I'd be lucky to get much more than a quarter of what I put into it if I did manage to sell it. ]

Yes, the prices are all over the place! I wanted about 6k for my 620 back in May/June, would have taken $5,500 and ended up trading it in for $4,500 - which is actually like getting about $5,000, because I was able to put the pro-rated sales tax difference toward the new bike.
They're asking close to $7k!! I think they'd take less to get it out of the showroom, but they did install the brand new tank, clean it up, and will have to warrantee it...
I'd say a clean 620 with less than 5k mi and a few extras should go for @4.5k and range up to 6k for a low mileage example with some extras like Termis.
