Sadly negotiations failed. I had expected 2500 would buy the bike but in the end the owner will rather see it rot in his patio than drop from his 3k asking. Sadly at 3k it is to close to other more complete bikes once I put a conservative 1500 in it. Oh well :) Win some lose some!

Yessir. I can do all the fixes myself no problem.

But I found a 2006 that has been sitting for over a year. Outside under a tarp with no fuel in the tanks. No prep done for storage. 40k on the clocks, 1 owner all service done at the dealer up to 34k. Had tank replaced... Looks like I can purchase for $2500. Is it worth the risk? I mean it scares me ...
