Thinking about the 1200 Multistrada, Question about passenger wind. We got the chance to put 200+ miles on a 09 BMW GS. The Wife hated the wind, she got nailed ( I was fine). On my 650 V-strom no complaints from her. As this will be a around town, day tripper bike for 2 up use, not touring. Thanks in advance.......G

I recently took my wife around Rapid city and vicinity for about a 300 mile day. She usually rides her own bike and is not a big fan of riding on the back but she described the experience as "like sitting on a park bench in a hurricane". It was a windy day, but I suspect if your wife didn't like the GS she won't like the Multi. The passenger sits up high, which is nice for visibility but not for the wind.

S. You will love the ease of the electronic suspension adjustments for when you ride alone vs. when the Queen is aboard.

Got the base model, Wife loves it BUT over 70 mph gets the wind fighting her head(as she puts it) So keep it under 70 to keep those fists out of my back. As for me, WOW, it's even better than my 650 v-strom on steroids & methaphedamine. Time for the 600 mile service.
