Hi,

When you get the chance, drop me a line on the mirrors. I sent a PM to you yesterday, but hadn't heard back yet. I wanted to make sure both mirrors had the heads tight on the stem. My left one is a little bit loose vs. the right one. Wouldn't be bad to have a set of spares as well.

Did you put FAR mirrors on yours? Someday I will get a set of these as I really like seeing clearly what is behind me and the stock ones aren't so hot for this.

Let me know as I am very interested.

That's what she said!

Seriously, i discovered recently that the plastic boot up top can be pulled down to expose a set screw. Take a look and see if it can be tightened. I bet it can but am not certain.
On a long enough timeline, the survival rate for everyone drops to zero.

Its the entire head of the mirror itself, where it mounts to the stem, that is a bit loose on my left mirror. The little setscrew you mentioned just helps hold the mirror glass itself at the point where you adjusted it to. I do plan on buying a set of FAR mirrors as most folks say they actually work most of the time. But have been buying other stuff first.

Thanks

Rod
