I've decided to buy a red MTS 1200 Touring.
I live in Hawaii so I will have the bike shipped to me.
I am not in a hurry so I can ship from anywhere, just want to get a good deal for a new bike.
The first dealer (Pro Italia) I found with a bike I would want (red 2011 MTS 1200 Touring) only discounted the freight ($595), setup ($560) , and doc fee ($55) for a total discount of $1155. Therefore my price would be $19995 before shipping. I'll take care of sales tax on my end.
For that price I would want a 2012. I think I can do better. Anyone with a recent experience, advice?

I paid 18 for my 11' in August, paid for prep, sales tax, title, reg and the dealer ate the freight. 19,500 out the door.

Any updates on current pricing for an MTS1200 S Touring? Am thinking I'm going to pull the trigger and get one, but still not quite ready to pony up $20K plus TTL and fees. I live in San Francisco Bay Area - don't suppose anyone has local price paid info to share? With an invoice of $17K and thinking offering $18K should be a fair deal.
