I have an '07 Multistrada 1100 with Ohlins front and rear. Bought it for sport touring but the vibrations through the handlebars, seat and footpegs are tiring after long days. Never had any problems with my '05. I'm going to take a test ride on a 1200. Anybody in the forum who has owned both types have any thoughts on vibration comparisons between the two models?

it should be smooth man,
something not right, like badly tuned or wacky cam timing.
I had an 1100, it was really yummy.
TT

Yeah, no problems with my '05, but bought my '07 on Ebay and first time out knew there was something wrong. Took it to Desmoto here in San Francisco and Scott tore it down and rebalanced the crank shaft, and it's much better, but still can't do three days in a row riding. Bought a K1200GT so I could take a couple of trips, but the whole time I was wishing I was on my Duc. Gotta get a long distance Duc.
